Winner. Network of Women Entrepreneurs

SIX YEARS WORKING, ENCOURAGING AND SUSTAINING INITIATIVES

The Winner Network was created by the international association DEVNET, UNIFEM and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and financed by the Directorate General for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs  of Italy. It extends over Latin-America and covers some countries in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.

WHO CAN JOIN THE WINNER NETWORK?

- women entrepreneurs of micro-, small- and medium-scale enterprises
- women dedicated to the production of various goods and services
- organizations that work with women
- communications entities that tackle women's themes

WHY WAS THE WINNER NETWORK FORMED?

- to communicate with groups of women entrepreneurs from various regions of the world
- to link with companies, organizations, foundations, ethical banks, the third world and women's projects
- to exchange experiences, technologies, management innovations and processes
- to realize business opportunities and initiate contacts and negotiations with potential clients
- to have a voice and presence in the national and international level
- to train in the use of new information technologies, entrepreneurial management and gender themes

WHAT DOES THE WINNER NETWORK OFFER?

A set of services designed with and for women entrepreneurs and that is also being adapted to suit their needs:

- Community of entrepreneurs. A grouping for the participation, exchange and realization of opportunities for women at a national and international level.

- Community of institutions. A linkage with national and international, private and public institutions that participate and support the Winner Network.

- Business opportunities. News and announcements directed to all women entrepreneurs in the whole Winner Network in the entire world. The system is easy, direct and without contact intermediaries, and consists of offers or requests from principals in the business, industrial and services sectors.

- Training. The Winner Network provides courses of entrepreneurial management, international commerce and new technologies through hands-on activities, distance learning through multimedia and with an exclusive tutorial system.

- Electronic round tables and virtual fairs and exhibits. To promote the participation in events and the direct negotiation with potential client and business partners.

- Information. Continuously updated service with previews, innovations, news of activities of the Winner Network and other information of interest to women.

- Office for assisting and supporting the members of the Winner Network. Attends to the individual as well as to organizations and women circles.

HOW MUCH DO WE HAVE TO PAY?

Nothing. The services of the Winner Network are totally free and conceived to support the initiatives of women entrepreneurs.
